The Getica is a new birth; a combination of old and new, a paradox and contrast between ancient culture and modern subculture.

The Getica, as a musical project and creative expression, symbolizes the world, history, and the globalizing that brought the earth’s people to where we are today. Our lyrics are created to open minds to wider realities than our everyday, mundane existences. Our music is composed to show how the most unlikely can sometimes cooperate to form new definitions of beauty, creativity, and journeys of the imagination.

In The Getica, we share with our listeners the story of the world, and of how the Old World and New World brought us all together, and blended our highs and lows into new strands of potential, survival, strength, tolerance, empathy, and compassion.

The Getica consists of a duo of musically inspired artists who simply love to make and experiment with the mental and emotional states inspired by music and sound.
